    Trans-national corporations perpetrating human rights and environmental abuses will answer for their actions - wherever they are. Politicians that ignore or enable these abuses will be exposed.

    Leading international human rights and environmental campaigners will address a press conference on the global future of intensified campaigns for corporate accountability.

    Following the press conference, the Greenwash Academy Awards will take place. The 'winning' corporations have been invited to receive their awards.

    The "Green Oscars" to be awarded in ten different categories include:

  • "Best Green Actor" for disseminating corporate disinformation;

  • "Best Foreign Direct Investment" for the most damaging development project in the Third World.

    See for the full list of categories and nominees.

    Cocktails will be served.

    Sponsored by groundWork, Friends of the Earth International, CorpWatch, Third World Network, Corporate Europe Observatory, Environmental Monitoring Group, Earth Rights International, EarthLife Africa and the Goldman Foundation
