We all know that we live in a world full of problems-- We the Planet will demonstrate that we also live in a world full of solutions.

We the Planet will be a sustainable event. Come and see how we use green energy, composting, recycling, and environmentally friendly promotional materials to create a low-waste, low-impact event!

In addition to showcasing 30 local nonprofits and their incredible work in the environmental, peace and social justice arenas, we will have a special activism focus around the precautionary principle-- a revolutionary common-sense approach to decision making within city government that can prevent future environmental harm before it happens.
