Boeing: National Missile Defense "Lead System Integrator Prime Contractor;" Partners with Raytheon on the Navy "Theater-wide Missile Defense Program; "Working with Raytheon on development of an "Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle;" Leader of the "Team Airborne Laser"-a project to develop modified Boeing 747's to fire lasers-with Lockheed Martin and TRW; and the "Space-Based Laser," with Lockheed Martin and TRW.
Lockheed Martin: National Missile Defense "Payload Launch Vehicle" contractor; "Space-Based Infrared System" contractor; "Theatre High Altitude Area Defense" contractor; "Medium Extended Air Defense System" contractor.
Raytheon: Prime Contractor "Exoatospheric Kill Vehicle;" "Prime Integrator," Navy "Theater-wide Missile Defense Program;" Partners with TRW for the "Program Definition Risk Reduction" phase of the "Space-Based Infrared System Low" program.
TRW: Contractor for the National Missile Defense "Battlement Management, Command, Control and Communications" system; Teamed with Boeing and Lockheed Martin in designing the "Chemical Oxygen Iodine Laser," Contractor on the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization's Joint National Test facility.
TRW is also the prime contractor of yet another space-based laser, the "Alpha High-Energy Laser" which has conducted more than 20 test firings.
