Intern Opportunities
CorpWatch has no job opportunities available at this time. We do, however, offer remote internships.
1. Social Networking Intern
HOURS: 10-20 hrs/week (may be flexible)
PAY: Unpaid Internship; may qualify for school credit
REPORTS TO: CorpWatch Director
Intern Responsibilities
- Develop and regularly update CorpWatch’s presence on social-networking and media websites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter etc.)
- Create short media messages to be distributed on Facebook and Twitter.
- Opportunity to contribute several blog entries on current news items related to our various focus issues and industries.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm and involvement in online social networking and open source communities.
- Knowledge of HTML coding, video and audio production for the web is a plus.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to environmental and social justice and the mission of CorpWatch.

2. Corporate Research Intern
HOURS: 10-20 hrs/week (may be flexible)
PAY: Unpaid Internship; may qualify for school credit
REPORTS TO: CorpWatch Director
Intern Responsibilities
- Collaborate with editors and researchers to research corporate malfeasance.
- Contribute to the creation of in-depth corporate profiles for our soon-to-be-launched online database.
- Opportunity to contribute several blog entries on current news items related to our various focus issues and industries.
Qualifications
- Research and editing skills. Previous experience with corporate research strongly preferred.
- Excellent written, oral and communication skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Commitment to environmental and social justice and the mission of CorpWatch.
