"I thought I would find freedom and jobs here, I thought the United States was a civilized nation, the highest in the world. I never imagined this kind of thing could happen here."

Two years ago CorpWatch brought to light the story of Global Horizons.  The manpower corporation had been treating immigrant workers in a way that was equivalent to modern day indentured servitude. What began as a CorpWatch exclusive, ended recently in the largest human trafficking indictment in US history.

This story, along with so many other CorpWatch features, has illuminated the tales of countless people who have been displaced, whose livelihoods have been ruined, and whose family's futures were uncertain because of the lack of accountability for corporate actions.

By continually doing such thoughtful and well researched reporting throughout the years, CorpWatch has proved itself as an invaluable resource in our society.  One that gives voice to the voiceless in communities that often go overlooked by other US media. CorpWatch has networks and partnerships all over the globe that allow us to bring in stories from often silenced corners.  Support of CorpWatch is also support to ensure that these stories continue to have breadth in modern media, and hopefully, that they serve as the baseboard for effective action to ensure they have bright endings.

Your donation of  $5, $10, $25, $100 or more helps us continue to expand our resources and extend the reach of accountability. In these tight economic times, we need you. Please make a gift today, and if you like what we're doing, recommend us to a friend:
